The standoff design helps reduce the risk of decay at post and column ends, ensuring long-lasting structural integrity. This 6x6 standoff post base is not intended to prevent rotation of members and is not recommended for non top-supported installations such as fences or unbraced carports. Easy to install, simply place the standoff base, insert the post, and fasten using nails, Strong-Drive SD Connector screws, or bolts.
