For best results, slowly wave wand for 30 seconds for each 1 in. x 8.5 in. area. As a safety precaution, the wand will automatically turn off after 5-minutes of continuous use but can simply be restarted if additional use is required. The wand is also equipped with a safety protective switch that automatically turns off the UV-C light should it accidentally be turned upward toward the eyes. The wand is lightweight and portable with rechargeable battery built in. It is compact enough to take it with you to use in the office, hotel or public places.
